I'm a software engineer, living in Berlin, writing programs since the 90's :) A pragmatic programmer. I switched languages and domains several times, so more a generalist type, who likes to learn and try things, and use the right tool for the task. In the age of AI, when it is easy to create code, but the focus shifts to reviewing it and keeping it understandable, maintainable and safe, this could be even more important than before. I worked on industrial software where precision and stability matters, used text analysis in search engines for research data and in voice control, and worked on a web shop as well. Currently parsing, processing, compiling, exporting data structures, and even helping out with a react frontend.
